Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has announced the renaming of the Abuja International Conference Centre (AICC) in honor of President Bola Tinubu.
Wike stated this while speaking during the official commissioning of the facility by the President on Tuesday in Abuja, notes that the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre is a top-tier structure that demands regular upkeep.
He emphasized that everyone using the venue must pay for its use, regardless of their social status.

The centre, renovated with a substantial N39 billion investment as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda, is designed to serve as a dynamic hub for economic growth and international collaboration. It provides a premier venue for major conferences, events, and business gatherings.
According to Wike, the facility is more than just a typical government structure, it is a state-of-the-art, tech-enabled complex developed with a focused economic and strategic purpose.
