Straw – Released 6 June

Tyler Perry returns with another feature, Straw, starring Taraji P. Henson. Known for her serious performances, Henson plays Janiyah, a single mother struggling to care for her ill daughter. French MMA fighter Cyril Gane takes the lead role in K.O., an action film centred on Bastien, a former fighter haunted by a tragic moment in the ring. After killing a rival during a match, Bastien isolates himself. Years later, the widow of the man he accidentally killed approaches him for help when her teenage son goes missing. What follows is a tense search where Bastien must confront his past and find purpose in a new fight — one for someone else’s life.

Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy – Releases 10 June

The Trainwreck documentary series returns with a focus on the 2021 Astroworld concert. The documentary revisits the events that led to the deaths of 10 concertgoers during a performance by Travis Scott. It examines how the chaos unfolded and what went wrong. This is the first of eight new Trainwreck documentaries to be released weekly through the summer, each focusing on major public incidents that had far-reaching effects.

Our Times – Releases 11 June

Our Times is a Mexican science fiction romantic comedy that explores the experience of time travel. The story follows Hector and Nora, two married scientists who move from 1966 into the present day 2025. Nora, finding new opportunities in a more equal scientific community, wishes to remain. Hector, however, struggles with the new world and wants to return. The film focuses on the challenges of change, ambition, and finding one’s place in an unfamiliar world.

Titan: The OceanGate Disaster – Releases 11 June

This documentary examines the fatal OceanGate submersible incident that occurred in June 2023.
