Titus Saul Ketkukah, a professor and Commissioner of Works and Transport, Bauchi State, on Friday felicitated Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, governor of the state, Muslims in the ministry and the entire Muslims on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Ayuba Maffi, the commissioner’s adviser on media and publicity, with the commissioner urging them to rekindle their commitment to unity and love for fellow residents.
The commissioner, who is also the Dan-Iya of Tapshin, Jarmai of Ngas Bauchi, described the celebration as an important and significant event in the Islamic religion that brings excitement and joy to the ummah worldwide.

He urged them to use the opportunity to come together and promote understanding, tolerance, and mutual respect among people of different faiths.
Ketkukah advised Bauchi people to remain resolute and steadfast in the belief of Almighty Allah during and after the Eid al-Kabir celebration.
“As we commemorate the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), let us embrace the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and compassion. This is a time to renew our faith, strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and show love and generosity to the less privileged in our societies.
“Let us use this sacred occasion to pray for peace, security, and prosperity in our nation. May this Sallah bring healing to our land, harmony to our communities, and renewed hope for a better future,” Ketkukah said.

He further said that as Muslims mark the end of the sacred month, that he rejoices with them, urging them to use the 2025 Eid-el-fitr celebration to reflect on the lessons of the period, praying Almighty Allah to shower his countless blessings, peace and prosperity for all Muslim faithful, even as he expressed optimism for sustained peaceful coexistence among the 20 local government areas in the state.
The commissioner also urged the people to continue praying for Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir for wisdom, strength, knowledge and more years ahead to continue developing the state.
