Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),has unveiled a 19-day schedule for commissioning key infrastructure projects across Abuja, as part of events to commemorate President Bola Tinubu’s second anniversary in office.
In a statement issued by Lere Olayinka, spokesperson for FCT Minister, announced that the inauguration of completed projects in the Federal Capital will begin on June 10.

The statement listed several key projects set for inauguration, including the newly renovated Abuja International Conference Centre (AICC), bus terminals in Kugbo and Mabushi, and the Apo-Wassa Road.
Also slated for commissioning are the N16 interchange and connecting roads from Maitama through Katampe to Jahi; the Inner Northern Expressway linking Ring Road 3 (Idu to Kubwa Road); CN8 road from N5 (Obafemi Awolowo Way) to the Court of Appeal; the N20 flyover on the Onnex-Kubwa Road; and the stretch from Life Camp Junction to Ring Road III.
Other projects include the Kabusa-Takushara and Kabusa-Ketti access roads, an access road in Giri District, a 15km road from A2 Junction on the Abuja-Lokoja Road to Pai in Kwali Area Council, as well as roads in Ushafa, War College, and the Army Checkpoint area in Bwari Area Council.

In a related development, Olayinka said the FCT Executive Committee has approved a contract for the upgrade of streetlights along the Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway (Ring Road I).
