Chams Holding Company Plc, a publicly listed identity management and technology solutions provider on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), has appointed Oluwaseun Osuji as its new Company Secretary. Her appointment was confirmed by the Board of Directors in line with NGX’s corporate governance requirements.
Osuji succeeds Yetunde Emmanuel, who previously held the role. With over a decade of experience in litigation, corporate, and commercial law, Osuji brings a robust legal pedigree and a reputation for excellence in corporate governance, risk management, and strategic legal advisory.
Osuji is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Lagos. In addition to her legal qualifications, she is an associate member of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitration and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. She is currently pursuing additional professional certifications to further bolster her expertise.

Before joining Chams Holdco, Osuji was a Senior Associate at Advocaat Law Practice, where she led a team of associates providing company secretarial and legal advisory services, particularly to clients in the energy and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors. At Advocaat, she played a key role in client management and was instrumental in designing and executing the strategic direction of the firm’s energy department.
Osuji joined Chams Holdco as the Senior Legal Manager, where she led the company’s legal team and managed the company secretariat. In that role, she was credited with steering high-stakes negotiations, offering strategic legal guidance to the Board, and taking a proactive approach to resolving complex legal challenges.
Her appointment signals Chams Holdco’s commitment to strengthening its corporate governance structure as it continues to expand its footprint in Nigeria’s evolving tech and digital identity ecosystem.
