Former France defender William Gallas believes Victor Osimhen has the potential to shine in the English Premier League and sees Manchester United as the ideal destination for the Nigerian striker.
United have reportedly made Osimhen one of their top transfer targets this summer, as manager Ruben Amorim seeks a prolific frontman to solve the club’s goal-scoring problems.
The Super Eagles star, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, is also attracting interest from Chelsea and other top clubs in Europe.

“I think Victor Osimhen can become a star in the Premier League; he has the right profile,” Gallas told Prime Casino as quoted in the Daily Star.

“He can stretch play and stretch backlines. Another attacker can run into the space he makes, and he could be useful for any club in the Premier League.”
The former Premier League defender acknowledged that while Osimhen has the skills to succeed in the Premier League, patience will be key during the adaptation period.
“He’s always learning, but at the same time, how long will he need to adapt to a new situation? We’ve seen foreign players before; it’s often difficult for them in the first season.
“In the second season, they step up. It’s not unusual at all. Even Cristiano Ronaldo, in his first season at United, wasn’t the Ronaldo we know now. But in the second season, there were signs.”
