President Bola Tinubu has summoned Nuhu Ribadu the National Security Adviser NSA and Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff CDS.
The two topmost security chiefs who arrived the Presidential Villa, at about 3 pm, went into close door meeting with the President.
The meeting which is considered as crucial is coming on the heels of current level of insecurity, ravaging the middle belt region.

No fewer than 200 persons have been killed within the past three weeks in a renewed attacks against defenceless citizens in Plateau and Benue States by yet to be identified terrorists, without anyone arrested for the crimes by security agencies.
Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, in his recent statement, however attributed the attacks to the activities of ” foreigners” who he said did not speak the language of the people in the areas that have faced persistent attacks.
