Victor Osimhen continued his blistering form, netting his 30th goal of the season as Galatasaray thrashed Konyaspor 5-1 in their Turkish Cup semi-final clash on Tuesday.

The Nigerian striker opened the scoring in the 26th minute, rising to meet a pinpoint cross from his former Napoli teammate Dries Mertens and powering a header beyond the Konyaspor goalkeeper.
The strike further underlines Osimhen’s incredible goal-scoring campaign, taking his tally to 30 goals and six assists across all competitions for the Turkish giants.
The emphatic win sent the Yellow-Reds into the Turkish Cup final and kept their hopes of a domestic double alive. They currently sit five points clear at the top of the Super Lig with six games left and are chasing their first Turkish Cup title since the 2016/17 season.
Osimhen has been instrumental in Galatasaray’s cup run, having also scored a brace in the feisty 2-1 quarter-final win over arch-rivals Fenerbahce, a match that saw four red cards.
Expected to depart at the end of the season, Osimhen has made clear his ambition to help Galatasaray complete a league and cup double before his exit.
The Nigerian international, who netted 76 goals in 133 appearances for Napoli, is widely recognised as one of Europe’s most prolific strikers.
As he enters the final weeks of his loan spell, Osimhen looks determined to finish on a high, potentially delivering Galatasaray their first domestic double in nearly a decade.
