The Nigerian Army has appointed Appolonia Anaele, a Lieutenant Colonel as its first-ever female spokesperson.
Anaele will serve as the acting Director of Army Public Relations, taking over from the current spokesperson, Onyema Nwachukwu.
She is set to assume office officially on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
