Miss Gold Njy Imo, has emerged as the winner of a brand-new Kia Rio at the Coronation Insurance Insure & Win campaign.
In a statement, the organisers said the handover ceremony, held at Coronation Place in Ikoyi, Lagos, brought the six-month-long consumer reward initiative to an inspiring close.
Launched in October 2024, Insure & Win was a flagship campaign jointly driven by Coronation Insurance and Coronation Life Assurance to reward policyholders while deepening public awareness around the critical role of insurance in building financial resilience and security.
“Throughout the campaign, customers were rewarded with an array of prizes including shopping vouchers, bedside fridges, microwaves, generators, and ultimately, a new car,” the statement reads.
Imo, overwhelmed with joy, recounted her disbelief upon receiving the winning call. “I’ve never believed in promos — I’ve never even won anything before,” she said. “When I got the call, I was skeptical. But by the end of the conversation, I was genuinely surprised and overjoyed. I didn’t even know there was a promo; I just bought the policy. To Coronation Insurance, thank you — you kept your word and made it transparent.”
The grand finale event, held on Friday, April 4, 2025, was graced by notable stakeholders, including representatives from the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission. Their presence highlighted the campaign’s transparency, credibility, and compliance with industry standards.
Olamide Olajolo, Managing Director/CEO of Coronation Insurance, emphasised the deeper purpose of the campaign: “From the very beginning, this promo was about more than just incredible prizes. At its core, it was about creating awareness around the power of insurance. Insurance is not just a product — it’s a promise.
