The NTTF describes the event as an opportunity for young athletes to showcase their skills, gain valuable experience, and prepare for Continental and World Hopes Week. Supported by ITTF and ITTF-Africa, the federation remains committed to grassroots development and fostering future champions for Nigeria.
The weeklong program will include intensive training sessions, technical workshops, and competitive matches designed to improve players’ tactical and technical abilities. It will also provide opportunities for coaches, officials, and players to exchange knowledge and best practices.
NTTF President Ishaku Tikon expressed gratitude to ITTF and ITTF-Africa for their continued support, emphasising that the initiative will help groom more talented players—both male and female—who can represent Nigeria proudly on the international stage.
