Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, has expressed condolences to Florence Ajimobi, wife of Abiola Ajimobi, immediate past governor of the state, over the death of Bisola Kola-Daisi, the family’s first daughter.
He said the death of Bisola, who he described as affable and good-spirited, was a sad and shocking development.
The governor also commiserated with the Bashorun Kola Daisi”s family as well as the husband of the deceased, Idris Kola-Daisi.
Makinde urged both families to take heart, praying to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss and to avert such a sad occurrence in both families.

In the same vein, Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of Abisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi, who died at the age of 44 in the UK.
In a statement signed by Akeem Abas, his special adviser on media ,Alli described her demise as a tragic and painful loss, not just to her family but to Oyo State and the nation at large.
The lawmaker extended his heartfelt condolences to her husband, Idris Kolapo Kola-Daisi, her mother, Florence Ajimobi, and the entire Kola-Daisi and Ajimobi families.
Alli prayed that God grants them the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
“Bisola was a woman of grace, intellect, and dedication, who upheld the values of excellence and service.
“Her sudden departure is deeply heartbreaking. I pray that the Almighty grants her eternal rest and comforts her loved ones in this difficult time,” Alli stated.
He urged friends, associates, and the people of Oyo State to stand in solidarity with the grieving families, offering prayers and support as they navigate this moment of sorrow.

A palace release signed by Solomon Ayoade, Olubadan’s chief press secretary, described the death of Bisola Kola – Daisi as shocking and a big blow to two prominent families of Ibadanland.
The statement further noted that the deceased was a very enterprising, hardworking wife and mother who initiated several businesses and supported worthy causes praying that her soul rests in peace and that Almighty God should grant both families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Bisola Kola-Daisi, a mother of three, was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, she died in London after a brief illness on Thursday morning.
Bisola served as a Special Adviser to Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Planning, until her untimely death at 42 years.
