The BusinessDay’s Future of Agric Conference will be held tomorrow – Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.
Themed, ‘Moving Nigeria from Scarcity to Food Security,’ the conference is set to influence policies and proffer working solutions to attaining food security in Africa’s most populous country.
The conference will bring together thought leaders, policy-makers, and industry stakeholders to advance solutions that will fix problems plaguing the country’s agricultural sector.
Abisola Olusanya, commissioner for Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, who is a keynote speaker at the conference, will be sharing how Nigeria can attain food security through effective policies and actions.
Brilliant panellists will facilitate dynamic discussions on the compelling opportunities presented by engaging in agriculture in Nigeria, shedding light on the issues plaguing the sector and how they can be manoeuvred.
Notable speakers will be conveyed to drive agricultural growth, such as Sheriff Balogun, national president of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) and Kabir Ibrahim, president of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria will be leading the discussions at BusinessDay’s Future of Agric conference.
Also expected at the event are; Kola Masha, managing director of Babban Gona; John Alamu, group managing director of Johnvents Group; Ayoola Oduntan, group managing director of Amo Farm Sieberer; Victoria Uwadoka, corporate communications public affairs and sustainability lead, Nestle Nigeria and Adelaja Adesina, managing consultant of Bdellium Consult Ltd as well as other top industry leaders.
