The Exponential Conference 2025, organized by The Exponential Network, an initiative of The Elevation Church, recently concluded its 9th Nigerian edition at the Pistis Conference Centre in Lekki, Lagos. Held from February 24th to 26th, the conference drew over 5,000 church leaders, ministers, and faith-based professionals from across Africa and beyond, solidifying its position as a premier platform for ministry empowerment and leadership transformation.
Under the theme “Intelligent Fire,” this year’s conference broadened its scope to include business leaders, featuring a lineup of influential speakers. Hosts Pastors Godman and Bola Akinlabi were joined by Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Ibukun Awosika, Paul Cole (USA), Pastor David Abioye, Dr. Sam Adeyemi, Pastor Yemi Davids, Pastor Jerry Eze, Leke Alder, Nathaniel Bassey, and numerous other thought leaders who facilitated impactful breakout sessions.
The event’s success, with over 5,000 participants attending in person and virtually across 33 experience centres, sets the stage for its landmark 10th edition next year, marking a decade of empowering leaders and charting a visionary path for the future of ministry. Attendees departed inspired and equipped to drive transformative change within their spheres of influence.

Convener Godman Akinlabi reflected, “As we celebrate a decade of Exponential, we are reminded that the mission of the church is both eternal and evolving. The gospel is timeless, but the strategies we use to communicate it must be dynamic and relevant to contemporary society. This year, we challenged ministers to embrace ‘Intelligent Fire’ to influence and transform the world.”
The conference provided a vital platform for discussions on faith-driven business leadership, digital evangelism, church growth, and kingdom impact in the marketplace. Key sessions explored topics such as “How to disciple HNI’s in your church,” “Stewardship of Influence,” “Intelligent Fire,” “Digital Discipleship: Nurturing Faith Communities in an Online World,” “The Sound of Revival: The Role of Music in End-Time Ministry,” “Winning in the Boardroom: Lessons in Influence, Collaboration, and Decision-Making,” “Strategy Execution: Your Pathway to Sustained Success,” and “Evaluating and Enhancing Your Brand.”
A highlight of the conference was an unforgettable worship experience led by renowned gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey.
With plans already underway, Exponential 2026 is scheduled for February 23rd to 26th, ensuring that church leaders remain at the forefront of faith-based leadership and ministry innovation.
