First City Monument Bank (FCMB, one of Nigeria’s leading commercial banks, recently produced three instant millionaires from the second draw of its ongoing promotion tagged, ‘FCMB Millionaire Promo’.
The draw, an electronic selection exercise which took place across the three regions and 25 zones of the bank nationwide, also produced 640 winners from the bank’s numerous customers who went home with various home appliances.
While the three star winners were rewarded with N1 million each, the 640 other winners smiled home with LED televisions, generating sets, decoders, tablets, smart phones and other consolation prizes from the regional draws which held in Akure (Ondo state), Awka (Anambra State) and Abuja.
At the Lagos/South-West regional draw, which took place in Akure, Abdulkadiri Olorunjuwon got the reward of N1million, while at the Abuja/North Regional draw held in Abuja, Isaiah Abari received the same amount, just as Odia Osasumwen won N1million at the South-East/South-South Regional draw that took place in Awka.
The FCMB Millionaire Promo, which commenced in February and will run till July, is targeted at all segments of the society and for existing as well as potential savings account customers. The eligible products or accounts for the promo include FCMB basic savings, kids account, Nairawise, e-savings, premium savings and third party accounts.
Speaking on the promo and how to participate in the draws, the Senior Vice President/Divisional Head of Retail of FCMB, Olu Akanmu, said that all an existing or a new customer of the Bank needs to do is to save N10 million in any of the eligible savings account of his or her choice for 30 days to qualify for the electronic selection of winners where the star prize of N1million and other fantastic prizes will be won. Multiple savings of N10 million will increase chances of winning.
To qualify for the grand finale draws in August, where three customers will each receive N5million, existing and new customers are to save N50,000 in any of the eligible accounts for 30 days. Multiple savings of N50,000 increases winning chances.

The Divisional Head of Retail added that FCMB was also using the opportunity of the promo and draws to further sensitise customers about the refreshed corporate identity of the Bank and its new thematic campaign tagged, ‘’A World of Opportunity’’, which were unveiled recently.
The thematic campaign, which is tied to the refreshed corporate identity of the Bank, tells compelling stories of life and business aspirations of diverse Nigerians and how FCMB supports them to bring such dreams and aspirations to reality.
