The Chairman of Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Yakubu Lawi Sumi on Friday said that the distribution of Ramadan palliative provided by the state Governor, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir would help in reducing hardship and poverty to the less-privilege people across the LGA.
The council boss stated this during the flag-off of the 2025 Ramadan Palliative distribution, held at the premises of the local government secretariat.
He said that the distribution of the Ramadan palliative would ease the burden of the people, particularly at this time of fasting.
According to him, “The palliatives, consisting of essential food items and other necessities, were carefully allocated to ensure equitable distribution across 13 wards.”

He advised the beneficiaries to make good use of what they get and feed their families with the items.
He further urged the people of the local government to continue to support the administration of the state governor, for the development of Bogoro, Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
Sumi expressed his appreciation to the state governor for a great job done to the good people of the local government.
On his part, the leader of the councillors in the local government representing Bogoro C. Ward, Gwandah Simon thanked Governor Bala Mohammed for the kind gesture.
