Nigeria’s U20 national team, the Flying Eagles, will compete in all their group-stage matches at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Korhogo, Ivory Coast.
Flying Eagles, seven-time African champions, will kick off their campaign against Egypt’s Young Pharaohs at the 20,000-capacity Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium on Wednesday, April 30, at 6pm Nigeria time.
Their second group match will see them face Morocco at the same venue on Saturday, May 3, at 9pm Nigeria time.
The Flying Eagles will conclude their Group B fixtures against South Africa’s Amajita on Tuesday, May 6, at 6pm Nigeria time.
The Flying Eagles, quarter-finalists at the last FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina (2023), are currently undergoing preparations in Katsina.
A semi-final finish at the tournament in Ivory Coast will guarantee the Flying Eagles a place in the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile, scheduled for September 27th to October 19th.
