Toyin Kehinde, the founding pastor, Agape Generation International Church, and convener of the Global Mandate Conference (GMC) has disclosed that the 2025 edition will help missionaries to re-ignite the passion and pursuit of global missions.
According to him, the annual conference is an avenue through which the church brings the message and passion for global missions to city pastors and, Christians in urban centres. He disclosed that missionaries from different parts of the country and Africa gather together for the 4-day conference.
“At the conference the missionaries who probably have had to give so much of themselves can now sit back to listen, unlearn, learn, re-learn and engage on how to continue and improve their capacity for the work,” Kehinde said at a recent press conference in Lagos.
According to him, the 2025 conference will hold from 20 to 23 of February, with the theme, ‘His Word to Our World’. He said further that about 150 missionaries are expected from several African countries and the United Kingdom. “These missionaries are serving in some of the remotest part of the world and among unreached.”

Kehinde said further that the missionaries will be exposed to series of teachings during the conference as well as workshops, skill acquisitions, tent making ideas, financial management skills, among others.
According to him, medical examinations will be conducted by the medical team of the church, as part of the initiative aimed at helping participating missionaries to renew the strength. “Over the years GMC has taken a more global look as missionaries come from many African countries, Europe, Asia and North America,” Kehinde said.
Speaking further on what the conference aim to achieve each year, Kehinde said that the aim of GMC is fourfold. He said that attending the conference provides the missionaries an opportunity for a well-deserved rest and relaxation.
According to him, the missionaries do not have to worry about accommodation, feeding or transportation as this is taken care of by the church and partners who also have plugged into the vision.
“During the conference, the missionaries also give report of all that has transpired on the field highlighting the victories, conversions, and challenges too. This helps everyone to praise God, pray more targeted prayers and challenged to financially support where needed.
“It is said that your network is your net worth. Just like in our mundane daily activities we need to network to do the missionaries. This networking helps them to connect with not just fellow missionaries but also with ministers and ministries who can then support their work in one way or the other,” he said.
