The Federal Government’s gross revenue fell 21.5 percent to N315.04 billion ($2 billion) in March due to trunk and pipeline shutdowns and lower earnings from the non-oil sector, the accountant general said.

The government distributed a total N435.06 billion to local, state and federal governments for the month of March compared with N522.05 billion shared in February, Jonah Otunla, the accountant general told reporters late on Monday.
