Since the past 10 years of being in the business of adding value to life through brick and mortar, Haven Homes has stood out with luxury and lifestyle living etched in all of its exclusive developments.
For those who know the company for its signature developments, the latest development called Richmond Gate Estate where celebrities (celebs) are taking position shouldn’t be a surprise.
With fabulous home designs conceived to alluring tastes in both exteriors and interiors, reviewed regularly to accommodate new trends and improvements, Richmond Gate is well complemented with a fascinating facility profile crystalising in an ultra-modern recreation center. It boasts of a swimming pool endowed with side attractions, lawn tennis court, fully equipped gym, sit-out bar, mini mart, salon among others.
In America, the super-rich stars have long formed nesting places in choice districts such as Hollywood Hills, Beverly Hills, Bel Air Estate, and others where they hobble with their own kind. In Nigeria, where the rise of Nollywood has brought in its wake the proliferation of stars, there is not yet a clear territory where celebs live collectively until now. Richmond Gate is fast living up to that name.
The estate with its luxury and exclusive lifestyle living is today the new destination for celebrities like 2Face Idibia, AY and several other top names in the Nigerian music scene.
It is the norm all over the world and not any different in Nigeria, the rich and famous often seek out to live in a special place that befits their status in the society. Since where they live tells a lot about their class and tastes, celebrities anywhere are very choosy about locations.
After all, they have the money and can afford to live in affluent places anywhere in the world. It is often the place they are assured of the safety of their lives and property and have zero tolerance for any security compromised environment.
They are fascinated by the estate’s prestigious and upscale neighbourhood located just after Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos. The estate is set to accommodate over 100 exotic units that can grace the beautiful pages of the best property magazines in the world. According to the developers, a four-bedroom terraced home in this estate goes for 100 million.
Earlier this year, Haven Homes brought excitement into the property market that was, at that time, still struggling to recover from the hang-over of last year’s subdued demand and over-supply.
The company went a step further to introduce into the development of its affordable luxury homes more sensuality and adaptation to their natural environment with new home designs.
This was a significant improvement in their style of development and Tayo Sonuga, the company’s MD/CEO, explained to an excited market that the new home designs are curvier and wavier externally which are adaptations of the homes to the movement of the sea.
“The choice of colours for the homes is now more subtle and tranquil. This is to adapt to the natural environment around the estate which is dominantly beach-white. Internally, we have chosen the spectacular elliptical staircase design that depicts elegance and also displays grandeur.
“We have also celebrated walls with niches which can be highlighted with various colours to display flowers or works of art. Our lightings have also improved significantly and we have introduced a new lighting concept known as star-lights”, Sonuga said at the unveiling of the new design.
According to him, Haven Homes is already a trailblazer when it comes to distinct home designs in Nigeria, saying that although the 2015 home designs might soon be copied by other developers as was the case with other designs before them, there are a lot of hidden messages within the design concept that might not be easily grasped.
“It will not be easy to copy these new designs. Although there will soon be attempts to do that, I can assure you that the originality behind the concept will still remain with Haven Homes. Our architects, Play In Architecture (Winner of Designer of the Year 2014 Award), are also working on our 2017 designs as we speak’’, he added.
