Chinedu Nebo, the Minister of Power yesterday commissioned the renewable energy solution, a technology of Omatek Computers Limited, at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
The Omatek LED Bulbs Solution, is a twenty four seven solution which helps reduce energy consumption in the country.

Diode, LED lighting. In Nigeria about 35% of all consumption of power is by lighting and because it is by lighting, we waste a lot of power because energy efficient bulbs are not being used.”
He explained that if energy efficient bulbs, LED, are used, it will result to situation where at least 70% and in some cases 90% of the energy can be saved, adding that this is a test case and has been shown to be correct.
While shedding light on the benefits of Omatek Solution, Florence Seriki, CEO, Omatek Ventures said it is a 247 solution as Omatek feels that Nigeria should join the league of countries that have light 24 hours.
In addition, she noted that Omatek decided to reduce energy consumption in every home, using our Omatek LED bulb and minimum the company has done is 75%, which can be increased to 90% because the 60 watts bulb in Nigeria is being replaced by Omatek 6.7whatts bulb, with 5 years duration.
