Rosabon Financial Services, one of Nigeria’s non-banking institution which won the 2014 award for African Financial Quality Service Award from the Institute for Government Research, Leadership and Technology, Abuja, has rolled out series of customer focused CSR campaigns and partnerships that are in line with the companies goals of community development and customer satisfaction in 2015.
The company, which recently launched its new customer friendly website and celebrated the end of the year with daily mobile phone giveaways and a star prize all expense paid trip for three lucky customers to holiday destinations, has in the past embarked on notable customer social responsibility drives.
From health focused initiatives like the distribution of state-of-the-art IT learning systems and relief materials to the management of Heart of Gold Hospital Surulere and the Little Saint Orphanage Palm Groove, to financial literacy focused initiatives like training camps and meetups, the company has continued to show great commitment to society and is poised to take this to new levels in 2015.
This year’s CSR project seeks to encourage the hard working men and women of the marketplace by ensuring that they are well protected against any climate change. The Rosabon team distributed over 1500 umbrellas in the most populated marketplaces in Lagos and Port Harcourt in areas like the Yaba market, Oyingbo, Lagos Island, Bariga, Orile, and in Port Harcourt Artillery Junction, Airforce Junction, Rumuola, Garrison, Oil Mill Junction, etc.
Speaking about the initiative, Chidimma Onyeokoro, head of strategy and marketing, Rosabon Nigeria, said: “At Rosabon, we are passionate about community building and development, and we never allow the economic climate to affect our commitment to our customers and our community.
“In 2014, we embarked on a series of community building drives, and this year we plan to increase this with several initiatives planned by the team.”
