Determined to make banking experience more convenient and safe for customer, First Bank Nigeria Limited has entered into partnership with Sweet Sensation to introduce First Monie into the eatery market.
With this move, customers can buy products from any Sweet Sensation outlet using just their phones, thereby going cashless to transact in any Sweet Sensation outlets, which can reduce ill health, as money will not be transferred from one person to another.
First Monie is said to satisfy all segments of the economy as all sorts of phones could be used. Once customers recharge their phones they will be able to make their purchases.
Speaking during the launch, Mike Ogbalu, head, mobile financial services, First Bank, said that when two great brands stand, the customers benefit, adding that “every transaction is being protected as the money sits securely on First Bank infrastructure, there will not be incident of fraud.”
According to Ogbalu, “there will be a specific discount for customers that make transactions using First Monie. For every N1000 worth of products bought, they will be given a benefit of purchasing an additional N200 worth of goods which will not be paid for.”
First Bank chooses Sweet Sensation for this partnership because its services are outstanding and they intend to keep the partnership sustainable by creating more value for the customers, keep its transactions as convenient as possible and give discounts to customers, he said.
He further explained that the alerts of the transactions will be constant, the product will reduce the stress of opening an account and will not require internet for transactions.
Kehinde Capson, CEO, Sweet Sensation, said she was very delighted about the partnership as it will give more relevance to customers and Sweet Sensation will always be ready to put customers through on how to use First Monie, assuring that First Monie will be made available in all the 30 outlets of Sweet Sensation in the country and will always provide quality service to its customers.
