As part of its effort to reach out to more Nigerian students with advance learning option for education, University of Huddersfield, UK has partnered with Impact Education, Nigeria to provide cost effective, high quality education for candidates seeking to school abroad.
Andrew Mandebura, head of international projects for University of Huddersfield while speaking in Lagos during their visit said the reason for the partnership with Impact Education is based on the important role the organisation plays in the successful admission process for intending candidates. According to him, “we have had a historical link with Impact Education because we both support each other, Impact plays an advisory role in the process of getting students to UK to study from start to finish, so they help them with the qualification and help them with their visa application.”
Mandebura, while commenting on the preference of the school by candidates from Africa especially candidates from Nigeria, said the main reason Nigerian students like Huddersfield is because it is cost effective with high quality and it is located in Manchester.
“Huddersfield University has been having a relationship with Nigeria for seven years now and over the period we have grown significantly,” he said. He further disclosed that the only way Nigeria can grow her education system is if there are more investments in education sector in the country adding that the issue of bureaucracy in education should be discouraged.
In his words, “There should be reduction in the issue of bureaucracy and government needs to be more reactive to opportunity and seek for partnership opportunity to better improve the education.”
On her part, Debbie Martin, country manager, Nigeria Impact Education said partnership with University of Huddersfield is a clear indication that the agency is doing something good.
“We have been a long standing agent for the school. We have been consistent in delivering students promptly.
