0yo State chapter of the Labour Party says the party will introduce people oriented programmes in the state come 2015
The party who vowed to occupy the Agodi government house next year said most programmes of the present administration are not citizen friendly.
Speaking at the opening of a new office in Foko,area in Ibadan,0yo State capital,immediate past commissioner for environment,Lowo 0bisesan in company of the state party chairman,Bashiru Apanpa said the party is battle ready to over power from Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
Obisesan,a chieftain of the party however opened up on the demolition of shops and markets during his tenure a commissioner for environment saying that governor Ajimobi ordered him to demolish shops across the state.
According toi him,I have documents to show that Govenor Ajimobi instructed me to demolish the shops with a promise to provide an alternative market place for the people.
Obisesan,a lawyer alleged that Ajimobi’s secrets will soon be unveiled before the general next election in the state.
Over 150 members from both Accord Party and All Progressive Congress(APC)
decamped to Labour Party, in Foko, Ibadan South-West local Government.
The decampees tore their party cards and vowed not to return to their old parties.
The State Party Chairman Apanpa who commissioned the new party secretariat in Sabo and Foko area of Ibadan said that they have full support of the Hausa community as they donated a secretariat to the party and promised support Labour Party in the next Elections.
While commending members for their large turn-out at the event called on the people of Oyo state to support the party with a promise to give them the dividend of democracy if elected.
