The Amalgamated Computer Stationery and Allied Trade Association of Nigeria has called on the government to involve Nigerian youths in the day-to-day governance activities of the country to make their collective voices count.
Chris Onyenka, the newly elected president of the association, said with credible elections, Nigerian youth will actively participate in the electoral process of the country.
According to him, credible elections are possible if the country eradicates corruption and electoral malpractices from the polity.
Onyenka opined that Nigeria electioneering process should be based on trust and unbiased for the emergence of credible leaders.

“l am very grateful to my people, they have honoured me and they have put their confidence in me, and I should not let them down but lead them on the right path,” said Onyenka while commenting on his emergence as president of the association.
Onyenka also promised to be a president for all and not a section within the association, as he thanked members for being orderly during the election, thereby bringing to end the crisis that had bedevilled the association for so many years from having elected officers.
Praise Justine, the vice president-elect pledged that the new executive members would fulfil all their electoral promises to members of the association.
“We will fulfil at least 98 per cent of the promises made to the association and I believed that we don’t have any choice than to fulfil our promises, I pray God help us.”
