A whistleblower, one George Davidson, has dragged the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences (ICPC) to a Federal High Court, Abuja, over alleged illegal arrest and detention.
He is seeking a N100m damages and enforcement of his fundamental human rights from the anti graft agency.
Joined in the N100 million suit is a civil servant, Regina Dominic, who is sixth respondent.

Other respondents in the case include, Akeem Lawal, an ICPC Director of Operations; Offili Innocent, ICPC Investigator; Maman Kuru, ICPC Investigator; Kontagora Khadijat, ICPC operative; and Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) as the second to seventh respondents respectively.
Davidson, through his lawyer, A. O. Osawaru, filed a motion on notice dated Oct. 19.
His counsel said Davidson was allegedly detained in the commission cell on Oct. 13 without justification until Oct. 24 when he was moved to a police cell at the Federal Secretariat, Abuja.
