It is not surprising that many people experience a situation where it seems like people and expenses are waiting for their pay check at the end of the month. To come out of this situation you have to say no to expenses that are not convenient for you.
•Low self esteem: People with low self esteem may live from pay check to pay check as they will always face the temptation of trying to boost their esteem with material things. However on the contrary, a person’s worth does not consist on the abundance of his or her material possession.
•Unnecessary cravings: When you crave for everything, whether necessary or unnecessary you may find yourself in this financial mess.
•Being covetous: when you long for things other people possess even when you don’t need them or when you have something better, you may live from pay check to pay check. To avoid this mistake, contentment should be your watch word.
•Misplaced priority: Not knowing how to prioritise your expenses, want and needs may lead you to living from pay check to pay check so it is advisable that you meet your needs and wants according to priority.
•Living a superficial lifestyle: Many people take pleasure in living a pseudo lifestyle. They want to live in houses above their means, ride cars above their means, wear clothes above their means and go on exotic trips to impress people. If you don’t have such money to foot those bills you don’t have it, so it amounts to making you live from pay check to pay check.
