Many a time, there is usually a gap in communication between teenage children and their parents, which often enough, results in a misunderstanding that drives a wedge into the relationship somehow. In the light of that, the real reason for this book is to help address the parent- teen relationship.
The ups and downs of raising children, especially teenagers in this current time can be an emotional and life changing experience, but in the end for many reasons it’s all worth it. To some people communicating with their teenager seems simple, to others, way too complex. At the same time, I believe that once you can see our opinions from our perspective, the communication gap will be bridged easily.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Chiamaka Mayowa Osuchukwu is the author of this book. She is an entrepreneur at heart. What is more, she is a 14- year-old, Senior Secondary School (SSS 1) student of the prestigious Louisville Girls High School Ijebu-Itele, Ogun State. Beautifully enough, Chiamaka is the first born of three children and the only daughter of her parents.
This book titled “32 Secrets teens wish their parents knew” is her first brainchild born out of a strong desire to improve parent-teenager relationship from the perspective of an insightful teenager.

This book was written to unravel the untold secrets of teenagers. Despite all the happenings in our lives (right now, in the past, in the future to come), there is still room for improvement. As they say, “it is never too late for change.” There is a plethora of things you may not know about your teenaged children and all you want to do is to genuinely help them, this book is all you need. I fervently hope you find the answers you seek.
SOCIAL IMPACT PROJECT
As a result of the corona virus pandemic (Covid-19), a lot of students have been out of school. Due to this situation 5% of the proceeds made from the sales of my book, “32 Secrets Teens Wish Their Parents Knew”, would be used to provide textbook for student who are out of school, to continue their studies.
