The Browns’ Restaurant and Bar located at the quiet Ikeja GRA, Lagos witnessed a flurry of activities penultimate Saturday. Well known Nollywood stars were present to support their own. It was the official premiere of the TV drma series titled: Number One produced by Boom Productions Ltd.
Number One’ tells the story of two brothers who never knew that they were brothers from the same Father but different mothers, who were out to undo each other in business and personal life.
As the name goes it is a story of competition, rivalry, intrigues and deadly manoeuvring. It is about trying to be the number one or the first in all we do, every day.
Everybody likes to win a thing as simple as an argument, a fight or competition even when there is no price to take home. This story will speak to every member of the family and will keep viewers glued to the television until the final battle is won and lost.
‘Number One’ is also laced with lots of comic and drama that will make audience drop off their seats while watching. ‘Number One’ is staring veteran and seasoned actors and actresses like Taiwo Obileye, Funsho Adeolu, Toks .B. Williams, Kiki Omili, Nonso Odogwu, Chioma Chukwu etc.
Kenneth Agbim, chief executive officer, Boom Productions Ltd while introducing the drama series at the event said ‘Number One’ is a captivating and family-oriented television. “’Number One’ as the title goes, is a story about trying to be the number one or the best in all we do, every day. Everybody likes to win a thing as simple as an argument, a fight and a competition even when there is no price to take home. This story will speak to every member of the family and will keep viewers glued to the television until the final battle is won and lost.”
According to Agbim, while ‘Number One’ tends to lend towards a professional office and family settings it is also laced with lots of comedy.
‘Number One’ is currently airing on NTA Entertainment (Star Times) on Tuesdays at 7pm, PRTV J on Tuesdays at 5pm, DBS Warri on Friday by 8:30pm; OGTV Abeokuta on Thursdays 7pm, BCOS Ibadan on Saturdays and Orient TV Owerri on Tuesdays at 6:30pm.
