Polo Limited, an indigenous luxury goods company committed to offering quality products to its consumers has expanded its market with opening of a new fashion shop in Lagos.
At the new multimillion Naira ultra modern shop located on Ozumba Mbadiwe road on Victoria Island, Polo exhibited array of luxury products to meet the growing demand for luxury goods by Nigerians.
“The Polo Avenue Store has the best products in leather goods, shoes, fashion accessories, fragrances among others from leading international designers such as Roberto Carvalli, Balenciaga, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Dolce & Gabbana amongst other luxury designers”.
Speaking at the unveiling of the shop recently, Jennifer Obayuwana, Polo Limited’s Executive Director said the new store is set to become Nigeria’s leading elite store, offering exclusive range of high-end products.
Obayuwana stated that “At Polo, our commitment has always been to provide our customers with products from the most prestigious luxury brands in the world. We have so far, accomplished this in the watches & jewelry category, it is now only a natural progression for us to expand to other categories that our customers cherish”
The director stressed that the launch of the Avenue store is timely with the increasing demand for authentic products as Polo Avenue will also solve the problem of customers seeking seasonal items which are unavailable in the country and they have to travel abroad to purchase.
It is expected that with the range of products including female bags, shoes and travel bags, some Nigerians don’t need to travel abroad in search of these products as the brands are coming directly from the designers.
Recently, Polo Limited under its wrist watch retail company launched a new TV commercial for wrist watches to demonstrate class in wrist watches.
The television Campaign titled the “Celebration” is to project polo as leading luxury brand in Nigeria, synonymous with the celebration of life that is associated with glamour, style and elegance.
The theme of the commercial depicts a celebration of achievement, life and success and to project Polo as a brand which people with class would identify with.
The commercial, which was shot in Dubai made use of high and expensive equipment and featured top actors and celebrities such as Genevieve Nnaji, Richard Mofe Damijo, Eku Edewor and Ojy Okpe. The commercial will be showing on Channels, CNN and Studio 53 Extra on African Magic.
According to Jennifer Obayuwana, “The choice of the characters is to celebrate ‘youthfulness’. There is a need to celebrate Nigerians from different works of life that have made success and a name for themselves, and have risen to great heights in their field through hard work, within the African continent and beyond”.
