President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked the Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, and replaced her with Minister of State for Trade and Investment, Samuel Ortom.

Late last year, it was reported that Oduah had compelled the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to pay Coscharis Motors, an auto dealer, approximately $1.6 million (or N255 million) for two BMW bullet-proof cars.
The highest cost for each such car in both the US and UK was $267,000 per car.
An online news agency had also alleged the former minister did not earn the Masters degree from a US college as claimed in her resume.
The President also dropped the Minister of the Niger Delta, Godsday Orubebe; Minister of State for Finance, Yerima Ngama; and the Minister of Police Affairs, Caleb Olubolade.
