President Muhammadu Buhari has presented a budget of N10.33trillion for 2020 fiscal year to the National Assembly.
Buhari, who arrived the complex in the company of Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and other political stalwarts, stormed the Assembly Chambers at about 2 pm.
The President was led into the Chambers by the Senate President Ahmad Lawan and Femi Gbajabiamila where he presented the budget to a joint session of the National Assembly.
Tagged “budget of fiscal consolidation and investment in critical infrastructure,” Buhari said the appropriation bill would be committed to promote economic diversification and attain higher GDP growth through job creation and to lift most Nigerians out of poverty.
