The acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has appointed Assistant Commissioner of Police, Frank Mba, as the new Force Public Relations Officer.
Mba has replaced Jimoh Moshood, an acting deputy commissioner of police. Mba is coming to the office with rich knowledge of image making having done so between 2012 and 2014 during the tenure of MD Abubakar as IGP.

He was also a one time image maker of the Lagos State Police command. Mba read law at the University of Lagos, and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2002.
Mba served as the Area Commander Area E in Festac, Area Commander Area ‘J’ in Ajah and ACP State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, in Panti, Yaba among others.
He comes from Ezimo in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, and was the Best Graduating Cadet Inspector in Academics at the Police Academy, Kano, in 1993.
