Flight P47100 operated by Air peace from Lagos to Enugu has finally landed in Enugu after an initial flight early Monday was aborted mid air because of bad weather.
The flight which had initially taken off from the old domestic terminal in Lagos around 7am returned to Lagos thirty minutes into the flight after reports of heavy harmattan haze in Enugu.

The flight successfully landed in Enugu at 12:33pm to the relief of the passengers joining in the Christmas rush to see family and friends.
The flight which was full had taken off from the old wing of the domestic airport in Lagos and the cabin crew were already serving breakfast aboard the plane when the pilot aborted the trip and headed back to Lagos.
The plane had to wait at the Lagos airport for about three hours for word from Enugu.
Motorists in the coal city had complained Monday morning of very poor visibility and they drove from their homes.
