The Boards of Ministries, Departments and Agencies ( MDAs) of the Federal government recently constituted by President Muhammadu Buhari, are due for inauguration tomorrow, Tuesday, 27th February, 2018.
The appointment of 209 board members for political patronage is seen as the largest under the current administration.
The appointment witnessed the inclusion of names of dead individuals which generated initial controversies provoking delays in the Boards inauguration.
Presidency while defending the errors, attributed it to time lag between when the names were first submitted to the President, the President’s illness.
A statement by the Media office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, said the Chairmen and Boards Members of the Parastatals under the supervision of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) are scheduled to be inaugurated on Tuesday, 27th February, 2018.
The statement signed by Lawrence Ojabo, said the inauguration will take place at the conference room, ground floor of the SGF’s office, at 3 PM in the afternoon.
