Comodo IT and security manager, a global innovator and developer of cybersecurity solutions has launched its new SecuredBox product, targeted at protecting financial institutions from attacks through Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Point of Sales (PoS) terminals.
According to the company, the solution is poised to provide a single consolidated dashboard of all devices that can act easily on technical issues, report on current risks and cyber threats.
Comodo is also partnering with Tros, an indigenous IT solution company to offer its market leading portfolio of cyber security products including the SecuredBox to the enterprise and consumer markets in West Africa.
Olumuyiwa Awosile, Managing Director, Tros Technologies, explained that this product prevents malicious attacks launched by scammers to steal personal data belonging to customers.
“Comodo was constructively and articulately prepared, making it is one of the leading cyber security products in the world. They protect businesses around the world from malicious attacks which companies connected to the internet are normally exposed to.”
Awosile further stated that Comodo’s IT and Security Manager allows for configuration of security policies and visibility into the security posture and health of your enterprise endpoints, while the ITSM Mobile Device Manager and Inventory Manager allow for the remote provisioning, configuration and control of android, iOS and Window devices.
“Previously, organisations had to deploy multiple solutions to accomplish these tasks. Today, Comodo has so integrated these critical components under a single, unified cloud-accessible Advanced Endpoint Protection management platform”.
“Being the world’s number one leading digital Certification Authority, Comodo ITSM benefits from the world’s largest repository of signed applications, OS processes, and trusted publishers to quickly identify the known good.”
“It is interesting to reveal that ComodoThreat Research Labs (CTRL) visibility into over 85 million AV users, provides key insight into known bad processes and executables. All other unknown processes and executables are automatically run in Comodo’s pending container technology. This henceforth provides a safe container for running unknown files while a verdict is being determined,” Awosile said.
David Liff, Comodo SVP of Marketing, said; “From our very earliest beginnings Comodo has been committed to global businesses, offering our security products and services to companies and individuals around the world. That is why we are so pleased to announce our newest partnership with Tros Technologies. Working Together we will introduce the highest level of internet security to West Africa. Being able to share information quickly and securely is crucial for economic growth in the 21st century and we know we can bring a new and higher standard to the region.”
