FG appoints Bintube into BoI board
Bank of Industry (BoI) has announced the appointment of Mohammed Bintube as a new non-executive director to its board.
Bintube, a former managing director/CEO of Jaiz bank plc, has over 30 years of corporate governance experience garnered at reputable boards at both public and private institutions. With his wealth of experience, his appointment is expected to further aid the realisation of the BoI’s mandate.
Born on August 6, 1955, Bintube’s experience cuts across his service at Jaiz Bank, where he was the pioneer CEO, Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), Nigeria Re-Insurance Corporation, Two Wheels Industries, a subsidiary of CFAO Nigeria, and Nidogas Company, among others.
Bintube also chairs the board sub-committee: Licensing and Regulation, NCC; Committee on Re-engineering Training, Learning & Development, NCC; board, finance/Gen Purpose Committee, Nigeria – Reinsurance; and Buraq Capital Limited, a financial advisory firm.
