Lifemate Furniture, a Chinese the company, says it will partner with Nigeria in developing its vibrant economy through the training and employment of the human resource.
Mr Sebastine Adeyemi, the Resource Manager of the company made this known when he led a delegation to a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mr Bayo Onanuga on Wednesday in Abuja.
He said that the company, which originated in China, operates in few African countries with its biggest operations in Nigeria.
“Nigeria is endowed with raw materials and that is why we decided to expand our business here.
“The era of taking raw materials out of the country for processing has long been over and we are now in the era of training staff abroad.
“We believe in building human development and we intend to contribute our quota in the development of the economy,’’ he said.
Adeyemi rated the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari as the best due to the peace and stability being experienced in the country “which investors are looking out for’’.
He lauded the Managing Director of NAN for taking the agency to greater heights in the short period at the helms of affair.
The Executive Director of Lifemate, Mr Jack An said the company had been contributing to the development of the country’s economy.
He said that it had in its employment more than 400 local staff being a foreign company.
Responding, Onanuga commended the company for the training of its staff, saying the same technology could be used locally to develop the economy.
“NAN is ready to partner with the company through our platforms such as our hard news products and the agency’s in-house magazine `Nigeria’ produced every two months,’’ he said.
He said that the company could also partner with the agency through the NAN PR Wire service using the company’s press releases to publicise its activities.
