Nigerian forward Victor Anichebe has joined Chinese second-tier club Beijing Enterprises from relegated English club Sunderland on a free
Anichebe’s move to Beijing Enterprises, which was the club of late Cote d’Ivoire midfielder Cheick Tiote.
The detail of the contract was however not disclosed.
Beijing Enterprises are currently 12th in the 16-team Chinese second division league.
Anichebe who endured an injury ravaged campaign last term, was part of the players Sunderland released after the end of last season.
The former Everton and West Brom forward made 18 appearances for Sunderland, scoring just three goals.
