As part of effort to enable Nigerians patronize “Made in Nigeria Products”, Shoprite Nigeria leading retail store on Tuesday, 28th February 2017 at the Shoprite store located at Ikeja Mall flagged off a campaign to promote Nigeria products, thereby shelving them among other products in their stores nationwide.
The event, aimed at strengthening the existing relationships with Nigeria producers in the country, identifying gaps, exploring new opportunities in line with improving the Economic stability of the country, also gave room to local producers to exhibit their products and goods manufactured (from the bottom stage to the finishing) in Nigeria for export.
The management of Shoprite, understanding that Nigeria is blessed with numerous natural resources, which are yet to be tapped fully, thereby supports the need to protect and promote “Made in Nigeria” products. The event, which is the first in the series, Shoprite hopes that entrepreneurs who are into production would be encouraged to partner with them in making Proudly Nigeria products a household name both locally and internationally.
