Wife of Nigeria’s President, Aisha Buhari has arrived Nigeria. Aso Rock sources told BusinessDay that she arrived the country late afternoon on Saturday, while President Muhammadu is still being expected. Already, unverified sources have began to speculate online that the President has further postponed his return.
The President’s wife left the country a day after her husband proceeded to London on vacation amidst speculations about the state of his health. Reports insinuated she had rushed to go take care of him.
From there she had proceeded to Saudi Arabia for the lesser Hajj exercise.
Buhari who was due to resume work last week Monday 6th of February had written to the National Assembly indefinitely extending his stay in London on the advice of his doctors.
Presidency security and protocol staff said they have been put on standby waiting for the next orders on the President’s arrival.
Whether he will arrive the county tonight or tomorrow is yet to be clear.
