The AR-RAKHAB Beach & Holiday Resort in Badagry received one million visitors in two years from October 2014 to October 2016.
Mr Frank Edame, its Marketing Manager, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos on Thursday.
He said that in spite of the location of the beach at the extreme end of Badagry, the resort was recording reasonable patronage.
Edame said that the beach has been recording good patronage since its inception in 2014.
“Over 100 visitors and tourists visit the beach in a month and the management makes huge revenue from such visits.
“The beach records more patronage from students than other visitors,” he said.
According to him, activities at the beach heighten during Easter, Valentines, Sallah, Christmas celebrations and public holidays.
He said that although sales around the hotel had been encouraging, but it still needed more visitors.
Edame mentioned some of the facilities at the beach to include gymnastics, night club, bar, relaxation centre, beach arena, volleyball court and restaurants.
He said that there had never been any mishap at the beach since inception.

Bar beach is arguably the most popular beach in Lagos. Located on Ahmadu Bello way in Victoria Island, Bar beach known for its sand bars, extends from the west by the Institute of Oceanography all the way to Eko Hotel toward the east.
Also, the Tarkwa Bay, which is an Island of about 20minutes Boat cruise from the Lagos CMS Boat jetty, is a serene environment sparsely populated with friendly residents some of whom are fishermen.
The Tarkwa Bay Island affords one of easy access to the raging and boisterous waves of the Atlantic Ocean as well as the less aggressive water of the Lagos lagoon both of which gives a refreshing and recreational beach activities.
