Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday relations with Poland were unsatisfactory but Russia was ready to try and restore a dialogue with Warsaw.
In the recent wake of the just concluded U.S. elections, Putin has sent a message of congratulations to US President elect, Donald Trump, who against all odds and forecasts trounced his rival, Hillary Clinton in the election.
In his message, Putin expressed a hope for a mutual cooperation in getting US-Russian relations out of the critical condition and in solving vital questions of the international agenda and looking for effective response to global security challenges.
He also expressed belief in the fact that building a constructive dialogue between Moscow and Washington, based on principles of equality, mutual respect and real consideration of each other’s stands is in favour of the interests of the two countries and the international community.
Putin wished Trump success in the “responsible job as a head of state.”
