The Federal Government on Tuesday disclosed that it has concluded investigation into the remote cause and causes of the recent earth tremor which occurred in Java Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Felix Ale, Head, Media and Communications for National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) disclosed this in Abuja.
Ale who allayed the fears of the people of Jaba Local government area and its environs over the recent earth tremor, assured them of relevant agencies’ intervention.
Ale explained tnat the comprehensive report will be presented to the general public through a media conference on Thursday 6th October, 2016 at the Agency’s Headquarters in Abuja.

This he said was in line with the preliminary report on the incident which was earlier released three weeks ago by the Agency which it promised to make available its comprehensive report and detailed analysis by its team of experts on the field to both the government and the general public.
According to him, “since the reported case of the tremor, the Space Agency has deployed a team of experts particularly from one of her centres of excellence, Centre for Geodesy and Geodynamics, to critically assess, observe and examine the situation in order to come out with a comprehensive analysis of the reoccurring events which has been a source of concern to both the Government and the entire Nigerians.
He also assured that the agency will continue to bring its expertise and proficiency to bear in times like that of the tremor for the comfort, security and overall benefits of Nigerians.
The NASDRA spokesman also assured residents of the affected communities of their safety saying no stone will be left unturned in getting to the root of the matter as the yet to be released comprehensive reports and analysis will go a long way in alleviating their anxiety and fear on the recent pathetic situation in the area.
