In fulfillment of its promise of sustaining better working relationship with customers, Nigerian-German Chemical Plc, has rewarded winners at its National Mega Splash promo.
At the raffle draws of the grand finale of the promotion held recently at Church Street, Idumota, Lagos, Uche Okafor of Nemitt Pharmacy emerged the overall winner and went home with a brand new KIA saloon car star prize.
As well, Nonso Emenike from Onitsha and Evan Store, first and second runner-ups respectively, also won fantastic prizes. While Emenike won a paid trip to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Evan Store was rewarded with a paid trip to Obudu Mountain Resort in Cross River State.
The winners are retail customers of NGC Plc who won through their respective pharmaceutical distributors that played raffle draws on their behalf.
Besides the star prizes, consolation prizes such as: refrigerator, Samsung flat-screen television, washing machine, i-Pad, Thermocool power generator, among other gift items were presented to winners, pharmaceutical distributors and customers of NGC resident in Kano, Abuja, Ibadan, Onitsha, Nasarawa, Jos, Lagos among other cities.
The spectators were also showered with NGC branded souvenirs such as umbrellas, T-shirt, pens, exercise to part home.
Speaking at the event, Akinyemi Chris, NGC senior implementation and marketing managers, noted that, “The essence of the promo is to appreciate our valued customers for their loyalty and patronage of products over the years”.
Explaining the choice of Idumota, Akinyemi said, “We are doing it right here in Idumota market because the market is the hub of pharmaceutical products in Nigeria and most of our customers come to Idumota to purchase our products.”
Akinyemi further explain that NGC is a local brand with a global perspective, adding that the company’s product are consumed by every dick and harry in the country. He maintained that his organisation always work in tandem with NAFDAC, SON and other relevant government agencies to ensure compliance with regulation standards. He also said that the relationship between his organisation and customers has been cordial over the years.
It would be recalled that NGC in time past, suffered credibility crisis on prize redemption due to breach of trust on the part of previous management of the company in Nigeria.
Consequently, the trend, it was learnt generated loss of confidence in NGC, in its ability to redeem its image among customers of the company.
“But all that is in the past because there is a paradigm shift. Our new management is disciplined, focus and goal-driven. We deliver our prizes to the winners promptly. That is why people believe in us again; public trust in our organization has been restored”, Akinyemi reassured.
He said NGC’s new management had cued into the new mantra of “change” to ensure that due process in all the company’s future promos are followed to sustain public confidence adding that Idumota Mega Splash promo was a proof that the organisation means business.
Akinyemi told the gathering that the presentation of the KIA car would be at a convenient venue on a later date because of the security nature of Idumota.
