Blue Ocean Technical Service Limited and LG Electronics have showcased some innovative products, which are energy saving and much suitable for the hospitality industry.
At the 2015 Africa Hotel & Resorts Expansion Forum which took place in Lagos, the two electronics brands displayed commercial air conditioners, hotel TVs, closed circuit camera TVs, network monitors, LED solar panels and commercial displays.
“This is the best time to introduce to the Nigerian market world-class solutions with global standards to ensure that success in business is kachieved,” said Anupam Ghosal, managing director, Blue Ocean Technical Services Limited.
The forum was aimed at showcasing the new line-up of products currently available in the Nigerian market.

“The LG Multi V IV boasts of the latest technology with the LG inverter which is an advance Takesment of the LG Multi V III and it is highly efficient, making it the toast of businesses in Nigeria and West Africa where power generation is a challenge,” said Park.
It was an opportunity for players in the hospitality industry to discuss strategies for market expansion. Valentine Ozigbo, CEO, Transcorp Hotels plc, said though interest rates are high, they will begin to come down once the hospitality industry begins to post big numbers.
“As Nigeria gets more competitive, the rates will begin to come down,” Ozigbo said.
“We want to see the rates come down. But the challenge also is inflation which has refused to come down. We are already expanding in the area of geography and services, and we have seen a lot of opportunities in the secondary cities,” Ozigbo said.
Barry Curran, area manager Nigeria, Starwood Hotels, said operators in Nigeria must up their game as competition thickens. Curran said the oil sector woes may worsen next year, urging the country to boost the hospitality industry as this will help to diversify the country.
