Stakeholders of Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area have unanimously endorsed the re-election bid of the Governor of Enugu State, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for a second term in 2027, citing his visionary leadership and remarkable developmental strides across the state.
The endorsement followed a stakeholders’ meeting where a motion supporting the governor’s second-term ambition was moved by the former Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development, Nnanyelugo Chidi Aroh, and seconded by a former member of the House of Representatives, Chris Nnadi. The motion was unanimously adopted.
While expressing their appreciation, the stakeholders highlighted the successful emergence of Simon Ortuanya, a professor, as the 16th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, as well as the appointment of several distinguished sons of Igbo-Etiti into strategic positions within the Mbah administration. They also commended the numerous life-changing development projects being executed by the administration within a remarkably short period.
