Konga, Nigeria’s composite e-commerce platform, has launched its first major sales campaign of 2026, offering a 25 percent discount on Starlink internet kits as part of a broader push to improve access to reliable connectivity across the country.
The campaign, tagged ‘Konga Jara’, features discounted pricing across multiple product categories, with Starlink emerging as the flagship offer alongside free nationwide delivery. The initiative reflects growing demand for high-speed internet in Nigeria, where connectivity underpins education, remote work, digital commerce and small-business growth.
Customers purchasing Starlink kits under the promotion are required to complete an activation and verification process, including activating the device on Starlink’s official platform and submitting activation details to Konga for validation. The rebate is applied only after verification, the company said.
Konga said the decision to highlight Starlink aligns with shifting consumer priorities as internet access becomes essential rather than optional. Satellite-based broadband services have gained traction in Nigeria, particularly in underserved and hard-to-reach areas where fibre infrastructure remains limited.

“We listened carefully to what Nigerians said they needed to kickstart 2026. Reliable internet connectivity stood out as the foundation for work, learning and entrepreneurship. This offer is about lowering barriers to participation in the digital economy,” said Onochie Melvin, head of commercial planning at Konga.
Beyond connectivity, the Konga Jara campaign includes discounts on a wide range of products sourced directly from original equipment manufacturers, as the company seeks to combine competitive pricing with product authenticity and warranty protection.
Konga operates a composite e-commerce model that integrates online retail, digital payments and logistics, allowing customers to complete transactions and receive deliveries through a single ecosystem. The company said free nationwide delivery on selected items is aimed at reducing total purchase costs for consumers amid broader cost-of-living pressures.
Shoppers can access the Konga Jara deals via the company’s online platform, with additional time-bound offers expected to roll out through Konga’s social media channels during the campaign period. The launch underscores how Nigeria’s e-commerce players are increasingly positioning internet connectivity and essential technology as core drivers of consumer spending, rather than discretionary purchases, as the digital economy continues to expand.
