…Launches Tinubu/Ododo Support Group
Asiwaju Asiru Idris, Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, has donated six motorised boreholes and with thousands of naira cash to his communities in Yagba East Local Government Area to mark his birthday celebration.
Commissioning the solar-powered boreholes, Idris said the gesture was to ensure sustainability and uninterrupted access to potable drinking water, to improve public health, support household needs, and ease the daily burden on residents.

The Commissioner equally used the occasion to inaugurate the Tinubu/Ododo Continuity Support Group, as he reaffirmed his steadfast loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the incumbent governor.
The commissioning was widely applauded by community leaders as a critical and long-lasting intervention that reflects responsive and people-centred leadership, as it drew dignitaries from APC party executives, royal fathers and associates.

Idris equally rolled out ward-based cash empowerment cutting across entrepreneurship ,party strengthening, women inclusion and humanitarian support.
Hundreds of people received N50,000 each to boost their small-scale businesses.
